Remarks:
The vapour pressure of the test substance up to 100 °C was below the lower measuring limit of the vapour pressure balance.

A study was performed to measure the vapour pressure of the test substance with a vapour pressure balance. The maximum temperature of the test was limited to 100 °C because DSC showed an exothermal effect at 100 °C. No increase in weight and therefore no vapour pressure of the test substance was registered with the balance in the temperature range between 22 °C and 100 °C.

The vapour pressure of the test substance up to 100 °C was below the lower measuring limit of the vapour pressure balance.

The vapour pressure value at 25 °C is below 10E–05 hPa.

Conclusions:
The vapour pressure of Reactive Red FC 73270 up to 100 °C was below the lower measuring limit of the apparatus. The vapour pressure at 25 °C is < 10E-5 hPa.
Executive summary:

A study was performed to determine the vapour pressure of the test substance according to EU method A.4. in compliance with GLP using the effusion method (vapour pressure balance).

The vapour pressure was measured in the temperature range of 22 to 100 °C. Higher temperatures have not been assessed as the measurement in a closed glass pan shows an exothermal effect at 100 °C. In this range of 22 – 100°C the vapour pressure was below the lower detection limit of 10e-5 hPa.

The vapoor pressure of  Reactive Red FC 73270 for 25 °C is below 10e-5 hPa

Description of key information

A study was performed according to EU method A.4 in compliance with GLP.

The vapour pressure of Reactive Red FC 73270 was found to be < 10E-05 hPa at 25°C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Vapour pressure:
0 hPa
at the temperature of:
25 °C

Additional information

The vapour pressure of the substance was determined using the effusion method/vapour pressure balance measuring the quantity of substance leaving a cell per time. As a precaution a differential scanning calorimetry run was performed. There was an exothermic effect at 100 °C so the maximum temperature was limited to 100 °C.

The vapour pressure up to 100 °C was below the lower measuring limit of the apparatus. The vapour pressure for 25 °C is < 10E–05 hPa.
