Description of key information

A short term toxicity test with Daphnia magna exposed to the test material and conducted following standard test guidelines resulted in 48-hour EC50 value of 2.5 mg/L.

Additional information

Two acute freshwater aquatic invertebrate studies were available for the test material and assessed for this endpoint. Both studies were conducted with Daphnia magna and found to be of good quality with each assigned a Klimisch score of two. Both studies were conducted for 48 -hours under static conditions and followed standard test guidelines. One study concluded that the 48 -hour EC50 value was 4.1 mg/L and the other study reported a 48 -hour EC50 value of 2.5 mg/L. Since the 48 -hour EC50 value of 2.5 mg/L was the lower of the two reported values, this was considered the key parameter for this endpoint.
