The average value of test item surface tension is: 32.6 ± 0.3 mN/m.

No distinct dependence of measured values of surface tension on the transfer time was observed.

The measured surface tension value was corrected by multiplying by the calibration factor Φb = 1.02.

Preliminary corrected value = Φ b x 32.6 = 1.02 x 32.6 = 33.3 mN/m

On the base of the polynomial equation the finally corrected value of test item surface tension was:

σ = -1.183 + 0.946·33.3 + 9.927·10-4·(33.3)2= 31.4 mN/m

Conclusions:
The evaluated, after corrections, the value of vinyltriacetoxysilane surface tension at 20°C was determined to be 31.4 mN/m.
Executive summary:

The determination of surface tension was carried out using method EEC A.5: 1.6.4. OECD harmonized ring method. The surface tension (after corrections) of vinyltriacetoxysilane at 20 ºC was determined to be 31.4 mN/m.
