First-aid measures

General advice: Take off contaminated clothing and shoes immediately. IF exposed or concerned: Get medical advice / attention. Get medical advice/attention if you feel unwell.
Inhalation: Move to fresh air.
Skin contact: IF ON SKIN (or hair): Remove/Take off immediately all contaminated clothing and Rinse skin with water/ shower.
Eye contact: IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/attention.
Ingestion: Obtain medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media: Dry powder, Carbon dioxide (CO2), Alcohol-resistant foam
Further information: Cool containers / tanks with water spray.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions: Ensure adequate ventilation.
Environmental precautions: Do not flush into surface water or sanitary sewer system. Do not allow material to contaminate ground water system.
Methods for cleaning up: Soak up with inert absorbent material (e.g. sand, silica gel, acid binder, universal binder, sawdust).

Handling and storage

HANDLING
Ventilated Process Enclosures.
Closed dosing, transfer, sampling and application system including connectors.
Bulk transfers: Ensure material transfers are under containment or extract ventilation.
Isolation of dispersive process step away from other operations.
General ventilation of workplaces.
Ensure regular maintenance of ventilation equipment and functionality check.
Automated equipment cleaning.
Monitoring of Vapours, Gases concentration.
Permit to work system.
Access restriction to certain/specific workplaces.
General good hygiene and housekeeping; Personal hygiene.
Due to lack of data on the respective endpoints, employment restrictions for pregnant workers, workers who have recently given birth and nursing mothers in accordance with Directive 92/85/EEC and the respective national provisions are to be observed.
Limitation of quantity used / applied per time unit.
Hazardous area classification.
Do not breathe dust/fume/gas/mist/vapours/spray.
Wash hands thoroughly after handling.
Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product.
Obtain special instructions before use.
Do not handle until all safety precautions have been read and understood.

Safe handling advice: Vapours are heavier than air and may spread along floors. Ensure adequate ventilation. Avoid formation of aerosol.
Advice on protection against fire and explosion: Vapours may form explosive mixtures with air. Take precautionary measures against static discharges. Use only explosion-proof equipment. Keep away from sources of ignition - No smoking.
Capture / filtering or return of air released from receiving volumes, vacuum pumps.

PERSONAL PROTECTION:
In inadequately ventilated areas, where workplace limits are exceeded, where unpleasant odours exist or where aerosols are in
use, or smoke and mist occur, use self-contained breathing apparatus or breathing apparatus with a type A filter or appropriate
combined filter (e.g. where aerosols are in use, or smoke and mist occur, A-P2 or ABEK-P2), in compliance with EN 141.
Weear chemical resistant protective gloves. For material and breakthrough times refer to safety data sheet.
Wear chemical resistant protective clothing and goggles.

STORAGE
Requirements for storage areas and containers: Keep tightly closed in a dry, cool and well-ventilated place. It is urgently recommended to ensure that the oldest stored material is used first (first in - first out).
Storage classification (VCI system/Germany): 3; Flammable Liquids
Storage period: <= 6 Months
Storage temperature: < 25 °C
Store locked up.
Note: Check open containers for peroxides after 3 months. It is recommended to inertise the containers when opening. Do not open or move containers with crystals on the seal. Peroxides (that have formed) may explode.
