Remarks on result:
other: The overall mean water solubility of F-3014, was determined to be less than the LOQ (1.00 μg/L). The substance is immiscible in water
Details on results:
Under the instrumental conditions presented, the mean measured reagent water solubility of F-3014, based on each of the four peaks, at 20°C was less than the LOQ (1.00 μg/L) at both flow rates. Therefore, the overall mean measured water solubility of F-3014 was less than the LOQ (1.00 μg/L). Since the overall mean measured water solubility of F-3014 was less than the LOQ, a percent difference calculation, based on the means of the two flow rates, was not applicable. Note: although four fractions had quantified traces for F-3014 as the first and/or second peak, the mean measured water solubility of F-3014, based on these peaks, was still less than the LOQ (1.00 μg/L). Representative chromatograms of solubility samples at flow rates of approximately 1.0 and 0.5 mL/min. The pH was measured for an aqueous sample collected at each flow rate. The measured pH of reagent water and each aqueous sample was 8.20, 8.48, and 7.19, respectively.
Conclusions:
The substance is immiscible in water.
The overall mean water solubility of F-3014, based on each of the four peaks, in reagent water at 20ºC using the column elution method was determined to be less than the LOQ (1.00 μg/L).
Executive summary:

The water solubility of the test substance in reagent water at 20ºC was determined using the column elution method. Column elution water was extracted with dichloromethane, evaporated to dryness, reconstituted with a small volume of tetrahydrofuran and analyzed for test substance concentrations using the four peaks in F-3014 as a proxy of the test substance solubility using high performance liquid chromatography with ultraviolet detection (HPLC/UV). The overall mean water solubility of F-3014, based on each of the four peaks, in reagent water at 20ºC using the column elution method was determined to be less than the LOQ (1.00 μg/L).
