Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

APPEARANCE AND PHYSICOCHEMICAL STATE
Acid Green 016 (AG016) is a dark green organic powder at 20 °C and 1013 Pa. The volumetric distribution of particles size shows that the d(0.5) is ca 11.8 μm; ca 22 % of particles have a diameter lower than 4 μm.
The test item thermal behaviour has been assayed using the Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC). The imbibition water/solvent release was observed between 50 -145 °C (onset at 59.8 °C, enthalpy: -16.2 J/g), followed by decomposition between 261 - 293 °C (onset at 264.3 °C, enthalpy 21.1 J/g). No melting or boiling point was determined. Based on the thermal behaviour, the vapour pressure is expected to be negligible.
SOLUBILITY AND PARTITION COEFFICIENT
The partition coefficient of AG016 has been determined by means of shake flask method; the average of logPow resulted to be -2.4 at 20 °C and pH 6.41. Although the values recorded are outside of the applicability domain for the test method, the results can be considered as reliable and representative for the tested substance. The study outcomes are indicative of a high affinity with the water phase, respect than the octanol one.
The water solubility was performed following the recommendations of the OECD method 105 and the average between 24, 48 and 72 hours resulted to be 119.49 g/l at 20 °C and pH 6.00, confirming the high affinity with water phase, rather than the octanol one.
PHYSICAL HAZARDS
AG016 is not expected to ignite and propagate combustion; no chemical groups associated with oxidising properties are present in the molecule.
The substance does not meet the criteria to be considered as flammable/explosive/oxidising.
