Justification for classification or non-classification

Based on experimental results, STAB immediately reacts with water forming acetic acid, boric acid, sodium acetate, and hydrogen. The half life of STAB under the tested conditions is less than 30 seconds. Due to the rapid formation of boric acid (CAS 10043 -35 -3), which is classified as Category 1B for reprotoxicity, H360FD according to Annex VI of Regulation EC1272/2008 (CLP) and R60/R61 according to Annex I, Directive 67/548/EEC (DSD), respectively, STAB also needs to be classified with Cat 1B, H360FD
