Description of key information
The chemical 1-Amino-2-thiourea is an intermediate for pesticides, especially herbicides, and pharmaceuticals; used in certain photographic and dye applications and used as a reagent for the detection of metals. In accordance with column 2 of Annex VII of the REACH regulation this end point was considered for waiver and study not conducted since surface activity is not a desired property of the material considering the above mentioned applications.
