Persistence: The substance is unstable to hydrolysis at pH 9. At 25 °C the calculated half-life is 12.5 d at pH 7 and 14.8 d at pH 4. Since the breakdown products are unknown, their stability/persistence cannot be assessed. Biodegradation was not observed in a ready biodegradation test. The substance is therefore considered P but not vP.
Bioaccumulation: The substance has a measured log Kow of <-2.0 at 20°C. The substance is not B/vB.
Toxicity: The 72-h NOErC for freshwater green algae is >1 mg/L. For aquatic invertebrates and fish, only short-term toxicity data are available indicating no harmful effects (EC/LC50 >100 mg/L). The substance is not classified as CMR or STOT RE. The substance is not T.
