Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

In a closed bottle test the biodegradation was determined to be 75 % after 28 days, therefore it was considered to be readily biodegradable.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Biodegradation in water:
readily biodegradable

Additional information

The ready biodegradability in the Closed Bottle Test was determined with domestic activated sludge for the test item over a period of 28 days according to OECD 301 D. The degradation was followed by measuring the oxygen concentrations. In the 10-d-window a mean biodegradation rate of 66 % was reached. The biodegradation came to a maximum of 75 % after 28 days. The test item must be regarded to be readily biodegradable in the 10-d-window and after 28 days. The test substance was not inhibitory to microorganisms at a tested concentration of 1.75 mg/L.
