In the case of fire, the following hazardous smoke fumes may be produced: hydrogen chloride, oxides of phosphorus, carbon monoxide.

Advice for firefighters:

Contaminated extinguishing water must be treated at a suitable disposal plant in accordance with waste management laws.

Keep out unprotected persons.

Wear a self contained respiratory apparatus full protective suit.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures:

Keep out unprotected persons.

Environmental precautions:

Prevent substance from entering soil, natural bodies of water and sewer systems.

If the product contaminates rivers and lakes or drains inform respective authorities.

Methods and material for containment and cleaning up:

Collect up material.

Transfer into suitable containers for recovery or disposal.

Disposal according to local authority regulations.

Avoid dust formation.

Handling and storage

Precautions for safe handling:

Refill and handle product only in closed system.

Ensure that apparatus and pipelines are free from leaks.
