Additional information

Acute toxicity to fish

In a static acute toxicity test performed in accordance with OECD TG 203 using fathead minnows, the 96-h LC50 was > 100 mg/L based on nominal concentrations. There were no visible signs of toxicity at any dose used.

Acute toxicity to invertebrates

In a static acute toxicity test performed in accordance with OECD TG 202 using daphnia magna, the 48-h EC50 was 0.58 mg/L based on nominal concentrations. This is higher than the water solubility of the substance.

Acute toxicity to algae

In an acute toxicity test performed in accordance with OECD TG 201 using Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata, the 96-h ErC50 value was > 1 mg/L and the NOErC was 0.30 mg/L, based on nominal concentrations. The 72-h ErC50 for algae was 0.61 mg/L and the NOEC was 0.09 mg/L. The 96 -h values override the 72 -h values, hence it may be considered that the ErC50 is higher than the water solubility and the NOErC is equal to the water solubility.
