Description of key information

Concerning the short-term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates of the TS  two studies were performed. The study carried out in 2006 was considered as not being plausible by the MSCA. Justification: validation not possible
Upon request of the MSCA a rerun has been undertaken in 2009 under semi-static conditions. The results of these studies can be considered as coincident.
The new study is assessed as reliable without restriction (Klimisch 1).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Based on the data obtained in the 2009 study the EC50 value of the TS is set to 6.7 mg/L at 24 hours and 3.0 mg/L at 48 hours.
