Strontium ferrite can be considered as a stable substance due its chemical composition.
Strontium ferrite is highly insoluble in water. In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex VIII, No 9.2.2., the study on hydrolysis (as a function of pH) does not need to be performed as the substance is highly insoluble in water. In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex VIII, No 9.2 further degradation testing does not be considered if the CSA does not indicate the need to investigate further the degradation of the substance. The outcome of the CSA does not indicate the need for further degradation testing.
