Details on test material:
Two samples were tested:
Type I: Slag, Granules, Primary ( Sample 09TT02641)
Type III: Slag, Slow cooled, primary ( Sample 09TT05244)

Sampling and sample preparation was performed according to ECI/REACH C1 Sampling Protocol. The C1 sampling protocol also provides detailed information on the identity of the samples (see IUCLID section 1.4).

Relative self-ignition temperature (solids)
Remarks on result:
no self-ignition observed up to the melting point
Remarks:
The first endothermic peaks appear at 1341oC (sample 09TT02641) and1027-1043oC (sample 09TT05244) when material starts to melt. Based on TG/DSC the studied material has no self-ignition properties

Conclusions:
The study is of good quality and demonstrates that the substance has not self-ignition properties.
Executive summary:

TG/DSC measurements show that the substance remains stable upon heating up to 1027 – 1341 °C. On that basis and consideration of mineralogical composition it is evident that substance has not self-ignition properties.
