EGDMA and eluate
from EGDMA-based experimental composite showed a tendency of
inhibiting GTase and the eluate from experimental resin
decreased the production of WIG. The authors conclude that
EGDMA used as a diluent monomer inhibits the GTase activity
and would therefore result in decreased adherence of S.
mutans and dental caries.
