- Executive summary:
A study to determine the freezing point of 2 -methylcyclohexyl acetate was performed in accordance with EEC method A.1 and PN-ISO 1392. The crystallization was not visually observed up to -31.6 °C. According to Guidance on information requirements and chemical safety assessment Chapter R.7a: Endpoint specific guidance (May 2008), the study does not need to be conducted below a lower limit of –20 °C.
Reference
During the test, the temperature of samples decreased at a constant rate, for measurement No. 1 to the temperature of -31.6 and for measurement No. 2 to the temperature of -31.3. The crystallization was not observed during all measurements.
