RESULTS/CONCLUSION

 

The DSC scan indicated that Texanol is a glassy substance and does not exhibit a melting point down to -140 C. There is a glass transition temperature below -70.25 ⁰C, therefore the sample is a clear liquid down to -70.25 ⁰C. The melting point is reported as <-70.25 ⁰C.
