Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Any other information on results incl. tables

Sublethal observations / clinical signs:

Test concentrations:

0 / 5 / 10 / 22 / 50 / 100 / 220 /500 mg/L (nominal concentration)

0 / 0.8 /1.9 / 2.7 /1.9 / 3.0 / 2.5 / 6.4 mg/L (mean measured concentration)

Observations:

Symptoms and lethality were observed at 22 - 500 mg/L.

The 5 and 10 mg/L groups exhibited symptoms but no lethality.

The fish showed changes in appearance only in the 22 - 500 mg/L groups and changes in behavior, swimming behavior and respiration rate in all tested concentration groups. Symptoms occurred during the entire exposure time.

Dead fish showed dark or light colored integument and redded opercula. Some fish were curved.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Validity criteria fulfilled:
yes
Executive summary:

Under the conditions of this test the LC50 of the test substance after 96 hours was 62 mg/L (nominal concentration) and is above the solubility limit of the test substance in the test water.
