Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

An acute Daphnia test was conducted and based on measured dissolved aluminium concentrations the lowest 48 -hour EC50 value was 0.33 mg/L.

The lowest 48-hour LC50 from three acute Daphnia tests was 323 mg/L NO3-N. This equates to an LC50 for nitrate of 1430 mg/L NO3.

The aluminium ion was determined to be the most toxic when compared to nitrate and therefore endpoints based on aluminium will be used.
