Additional information

A proprietary study (Kurume (1999)) was adequate for use as a key study for the fulfillment of this endpoint. This study was conducted to GLP and followed the standard guideline OECD 202. In this studyDaphnia magnawere exposed to a series of sulfolane concentrations of up to 1000 mg/L. Based on mobility of the daphnids at 48 hours the EC50 was determined to be 852 mg/L and the NOEC was determined to be 171 mg/L.
