Description of key information

Flammability is defined as how easily something will burn or ignite, causing fire or combustion in contact with an ignition source. methyl 5-nitrohydrogen.isophthalate was found to be non flammable when an igntition source having temperature of around 950oC was brought in close contact with it. Thus it can be concluded that methyl 5-nitrohydrogen.isophthalate is a non flammable solid at high temperature

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Flammability:
non flammable

Additional information

Justification for classification or non-classification

2-(2-ethoxyethoxy)ethyl acetate was found to be flammable when an igntition source having temperature of around 950oC was brought in close contact with it. Thus it can be concluded that 2-(2-ethoxyethoxy)ethyl acetate is a flammable liquid at high temperature. Since such high temperature is unlikely to occur during normal handling and transportation conditions, it has not been classified as a flammable liquid
