Any other information on results incl. tables
The test item was dried in a desiccator over silica gel for about 101 days before use.
The sample cell was weighed, filled with the test item and placed in the Multi-Pycnometer. Then, the test was performed, resulting in pressure readings p1(sample) and p2(sample) for the upper and the lower pressure readings, respectively. From these pressure readings, the volume of the test item was calculated.. The procedure was repeated until reproducible results were obtained (repeatability of <+/- 0.02 g/cm³). The sample cell containing the test item was reweighed to determine the mass of the tested material.

Applicant's summary and conclusion
- Conclusions:
- The density of the test item FAT 40840/A TE was determined to be 1.728 g/cm³ (= 1.728 · 10³ kg/m³) at 19.8 °C using a gas comparison pycnometer. The relative density of FAT 40840/A TE was determined to be D4 20 = 1.728.
- Executive summary:
The purpose of the study was to determine the relative density of the test item at a specific temperature by means of a gas comparison pycnometer. The study was performed in accordance with OECD guideline 109. The density of the test item FAT 40840/A TE was determined to be 1.728 g/cm³ (= 1.728 · 10³ kg/m³) at 19.8 °C using a gas comparison pycnometer. The relative density of FAT 40840/A TE was determined to be D4 20 = 1.728.
