Type:
relative density
Density:
940 other: dimensionless
Temp.:

Conclusions:
Under the study conditions, the average density of the test substance was determined to be 0.94 g/cm3 at 20ºC. The relative density was 940.

Executive summary:

The density for the test substance, TMAC T (purity not specified) was determined using pycnometer method according to Method NF T20 – 053 (determination of density of solids in powder and liquids). The determination was carried out with a pycnometer using the displacement method and hexadecane as solvent, in duplicate. Under the study conditions, the average density of the test substance was determined to be 0.94 g/cm3 at 20 ºC and the relative density was 940 (Borjesson, 2012).

Description of key information

The density of the test substance was determined using pycnometer method according to Method NF T20 – 053 (Börjesson, 2012).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Relative density at 20C:
0.94
