Administrative data
First-aid measures
Eyes: Immediately wash out the eye with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes holding eye open. Seek medical attention.
Skin: Wash the skin with water. Seek medical attention if skin appears damaged.
Ingestion: Wash out mouth with water. Do not induce vomiting. Seek medical advice.
Fire-fighting measures
Flash Point: Not applicable.
Extinguishing Media:
Dry chemical or carbon dioxide for small fires.
Alcohol-type or all-purpose-type foams for large fires.
Fire Fighting equipment / Instruction: Cool fire-exposed tank/container surface with water spray. Fight fire from upwind position. Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and protective equipment.
Accidental release measures
Containment Procedures:
Review Fire- righting measures section and Exposure controls/personal protection section before proceeding with clean up. May make floor very slippery. Wear impervious glove/overall and eye protection whilst cleaning up the spillage. Do not wash into drains. Place in plastic barrels for disposal. Do not mix with other waste materials.
Clean up Procedures:
Small Spills: Absorb spills with suitable inert absorbent and incinerate or dispose of in accordance with governmental regulations.
Handling and storage
Procedures for Handling:
Prevent breathing vapors or mist. Prevent contact with eyes, skin, or clothing. Use in the well-ventilated areas.
Storage Method: Keep containers tightly closed, and store it in a cool and well ventilated area. Do not store close to strong oxidising agents which could aggravate any fire situation.
