The substance will not evaporate from water surfaces to the atmosphere. The experimentally determined vapour pressure (6.3x10E-6 Pa at 20°C) together with calculations of Henry’s constant of 2.58 E-9 Pa m³/mol (25°C) indicate that the substance is not volatile. In addition, there laboratory studies indicate a volatility of the parent compound at the tested conditions. Mefenpyr-diethyl has a limited potential to adsorb to suspended solids and sediment considering a log Koc of 2.8 (arithmetic mean).
