Description of key information

The effective concentration (EC50) value of 3-chloroaniline in microorganism (Escherichia coli) in a 12 hr study on the basis of growth inhibition effect was found to be 343 mg/L.

Based on the studies summarized in the above table for the target substance 3-chloroaniline in microorganisms (Tetrahymena pyriformis and Escherichia coli),the endpoint value was found to vary between IGC50 = 99 mg/L and EC50 = 100 mg/L to 343 mg/L in a 12 hrs. to 48 hrs. study on the basis of growth inhibition and population effect.
