Details on results:
Solubility values were approximately 1 and 2 mg/L at the low (0.1 g/L) and high (1 g/L) test loadings respectively. The increase in solubility with loading indicated that minor components or impurities would mainly have contributed to these values. Based on structure, the solubility of the test substance itself was anticipated to be much lower. Computer modelling ((WSKOWWIN, Version 1.41, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency) indicated a water solubility of much less than 1 mg/l for representative constituents of the test material.
