Description of key information

The boiling point of the substance is 125.23 °C at 1013.25 hPa.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Boiling point at 101 325 Pa:
125.23 °C

Additional information

A non-GLP study determined the normal boiling point to be 122.9°C and a GLP vapou pressure-study determined the boiling point, using the dynamic method, to be 125.23 °C at 1013.25 hPa..

This was supported from different literature sources where the boiling point of 1-(dimethylamino)propan-2-ol was consistently reported (a peer reviewed data base (REAXYS) and authoritative secondary sources) to be in a range of 122-126°C at 1013 hPa. They are all regarded to be reliable for 1-(dimethylamino)propan-2-ol.

The value from the GLP study was chosen as key value for 1-(dimethylamino)propan-2-ol.
