Executive summary:

In a reverse gene mutation assay in bacteria performed in compliance with the GLP, Salmonella typhimurium TA98 and TA100 were exposed to 2'-[2,4-dichloro-5-(1-methylethoxy)phenyl]-2,2-dimethylpropionohydrazide (named as 1-(2,4-dichloro 5-isopropoxy phenyl) 2-trimethylacetyl hydrazine (DIPTH) in the report). No mutagenic activity in both strains was observed with or without metabolic activation.
