Description of key information

Surface Tension: 56.7 mN/m at 21.3 ± 0.5 °C, EU Method A.5, Harlan Laboratories Ltd. 2013

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The surface tension was determined using the ring method of EU Method A.5. Substances showing a surface tension lower than 60 mN/m under the conditions of this method, should be regarded as being surface active. The surface tension of a 90% saturated solution of the substance in water has been determined to be 56.7 mN/m at 21.3 ± 0.5 °C. The substance is considered to be a surface-active substance.
