Experimental data on terrestrial organisms are available for the substance. A GLP study conducted according to OECD guideline 216 was performed with the test substance. 62.5, 125, 250, 500 and 1000 mg/kg dry weight of soil (nominal). Additionally, soil without test substance as blank control and soil with 1000 mg/kg dry weight of soil (nominal) but without additional nitrogen source was also tested. In all tested concentrations ranging from 62.5 mg/kg soil Dw up to 500 mg/kg soil (Dw), no significant negative effect on soil nitrogen transformation were observed for days 0, 7, 15 and at the end of exposure (day 28). Except on day 0 but on days 7, 15 and at the end of exposure (day 28), test assays with test concentration of 1000 mg/kg Dw did show significant inhibitory influence on the nitrogen transformation rates. As there were no meaningful concentration response curves obtained for day 0, day 7, day 15 and day 28 values (p(F) > 0.05; i.e., slope of the relationship is not significantly different from zero), ECx values derived from the statistical analysis are not valid are therefore, not scientifically reliable. The EC50 value is likely to be higher than the highest test concentration assessed.
