Description of key information

The auto-ignition temperature of C20-22 Alpha Olefin is 260°C at 103.2kPa

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Webb (2001) tested a substance composed of C20-22 alpha olefins, it is therefore considered appropriate to read across from that test substance to icos-1-ene. The autoignition temperature was determined following a standard method conducted to GLP and is therefore considered suitable as a key study for this endpoint.
