Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
First-Aid-Team:
Ensure self-protection Evacuate personnel to safe areas. Take off contaminated clothing and shoes immediately.
Eyes:
Immediately flush eye(s) with plenty of water. If eye irritation persists, consult a specialist.
Skin:
Wash off immediately with plenty of water and soap. If symptoms persist, call a physician.
Ingestion:
If swallowed, rinse mouth with water. Do not induce vomiting. Seek medical advice immediately and show container or label.
Inhalation:
Provide fresh air. If symptoms persist, call a physician
Fire-fighting measures
In the event of fire, formation of toxic gases possible. Wear self-contained breathing apparatus
Recommended extinguishing agents:
Carbon dioxide, dry powder, water spray, alcoholresistent foam
Extinguishing media which shall not be used for safety reasons: full water jet
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions: Wear personal protective equipment
Environmental precautions: Do not flush into surface water or sanitary sewer system.
Methods for cleaning up: Take care for reasonable aeration.
Contain spilled material, take up with non-combustible, absorbing material (e.g. sand, soil, diatomaceous earth, vermiculite) and collect in suitable container for disposal according to local / national legal recommendations.
Handling and storage
Safe handling advice: Take care for sufficient ventilation and/or air-suction in the working area. Prevent formation of aerosol. Have eye wash bottle or eye rinse ready at the work place.
Advice on protection against fire and explosion: Apply usual procedures of preventive fire protection requirements.
Requirements for storage areas and containers: Keep containers tightly closed in a dry, cool and well-ventilated place. Store at temperatures above 0°C / below 50°C. Protect from humidity and water.

- Hand protection: Neoprene gloves, solvent-resistant gloves (butyl-rubber), protective gloves.
- Eye protection: Tightly fitting safety goggles
- Skin and body protection: chemical protective clothing according to DIN EN 13034 (type 6).
- Hygiene measures: Take off contaminated clothing and shoes immediately. Keep away from food, beverages and animal feeding stuffs. Wash hands before breaks and at the end of the workday. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Do not inhale damp air and/or aerosol.
Stability and reactivity
Conditions to avoid: Protect from moisture
Materials to avoid: Water, violent reaction with –NHx, -OH, -SH-groups, evolution of heat
Hazardous decomposition products: Reaction with water under generation of ethanol
Disposal considerations
Waste key for the unused product: 080409 Adhesive and sealing compound waste material containing organic solvents and other hazardous substances
Product: Dispose of in compliance with local regulations.
Contaminated packaging: Dispose like unused product
