Applicant's summary and conclusion

Executive summary:

Phosphonoc acid, diethylester was tested for point mutations using the Ames test (Salmonella typhimurium TA98, TA100, TA1535, TA 1537) as described in OECD TG 471 and under GLP conditions. It can be statedm that during the described mutagenicity test and under the experimental conditions reportedm the test article did not induce point mutations by base pair changes of frameshifts in the genome of the strains used. The positive controls were functional. Therefore Phosphonic acid, diethylester is considered to be non-mutagenic in this Salmonella typhimurium reverse mutation assay
