Paraffin waxes and Hydrocarbon waxes, chloro, sulfochlorinated, saponified is an UVCB substance readily biodegradable (Noè CH-333/2012) with a predicted low BCF (VEGA Qsar) 135 L/kg. The preferred compartement based on solubility and Kow is water, low adsorption to soil/organic content is expected based on Koc. Considering these data and the intended uses of the substance, a relevant exposure of terrestrial organisms is unlikely. Tests in terrestrial organisms were therefore considered not to be necessary.
