ABIOTIC TRANSFORMATION - HYDROLYIS

As the registration substance is readily biodegradable in an OECD 301B CO2 Evolution test (see IUCLID Chapter 5.2.1) a hydrolysis study need not to be conducted (REACH Regulation 2006/1907 Annex VIII, Column 2, 9.2.2.1). In comparison to the rate in biodegradation ester, hydrolysis is slow under environmental pH 4 -9.
