Justification:

PERSISTENCE

The registration substance is readily biodegradable in an OECD 301B CO2 Evolution test (see IUCLID Chapter 5.2.1).

BIOACCUMULATION

The registration substance has a low Log Kow of 2.55 at 23 deg C at pH7 (see IUCLID Chapter 4.7), is readily biodegradable and therefore bioaccumlation is not expected (see also IUCLID Chapter 5.3).

TOXICITY

The registration substance has a low acute toxicity to fish, daphnia and algae (lowest effect: EC50 (48h) Daphnia 40.1 mg/L) see IUCLID Chapter 6 and 6.1. The registration substance is not classified as carcinogen, mutagen and reprotoxic according the criteria of DSD 67/548/EEC or CLP 1272/2008 and Amendments thereof. The registration substance is not classified asT, R48 or Xn, R48 according DSD 67/548/EEC and is not classified as STOT RE category 1 or 2.

OVERALL RESULT

Based on the facts given before the registration substance is not PBT and not vPvB.
