Additional information

In a GLP guideline study following OECD 202 waterflea (Daphnia magna) were exposed for 48 hours in a static test to the submission item. The observed EL50 (48h) was above 100 mg/L nominal test substance concentration (BASF AG, 2003). This result confirmed by another GLP guideline study following EU Method C.2 (Acute Toxicity for Daphnia). The study was conducted using a similar HDI Allophanate as a limit test with nominal test concentration of 100 mg/L. No effects on the mobility of the waterfleas (Daphnia magna) were observed after 48 hours exposure (Bayer AG, 2011).
