Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The environmental fate of the registration item is mainly driven by hydrolysis and the subsequent formation of polyureas. This process results in large sized molecules with low water solubililty. These structures are considered inert and not adsorptive to organic matter. Significant amounts of unreacted submission item are not expected to occur in moist soils.
Hence, adsorption/desorption is not considered relevant for the HDI oligomer reaction mass, and the endpoint is waived.

Nevertheless, to shed some light on the endpoint, logKOC values have been calculated for three main constituents. These range from 4.7 to 7.1, respectively.
