Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
Inhalation: Immediately transfer the victim into fresh air and keep him/her calm. Give medical attention whenever necessary.
Skin: Remove contaminated wears and shoes immediately, and rinse with water and soap thoroughly. If abnormal signs such as any change in appearance and pain are observed, give medical attention immediately.
Eye: Immediately rinse the affected eye for at least 15 minutes with clean water, and give medical attention. When rinsing the eye, open the eyelid well with the fingers and thoroughly rinse the eyeball and the eyelid.
Ingestion: Rinse the mouth well with water. If possible, induce vomiting and give medical attention immediately.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media: Foam or powder extinguishing agent, carbon dioxide, water, and sand Specific hazards: Toxic gas such as nitrogen oxides, sulfur oxides and carbon monoxide may develop in fire.
Fire-fighting measures: Try to extinguish fire up wind as much as possible. Remove movable containers from the fire area and transfer them to a safe place immediately.
Protection of fire fighters: Wear proper protective equipment in fire fighting. Wear heat-resistant clothes, respiratory protective masks and others against combustion, high temperature and toxic gas.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions: Use protective wears such as protective gloves, safety glasses and protective clothes during the work. Conduct the work up wind so as to prevent dust from contacting on the skin or inhalation of dust.
Environmental precautions: Do not discharge leakage into the river or sewage system.
Disposal method: Use waste cloth and others to collect leakage and put it into hermetic containers. The waste cloth and others used for collecting leakage are to be burnt for disposal.
Handling and storage
Handling
Technical measures: It is desirable to install local ventilation systems, use hermetic equipment or provide an overall ventilation to prevent contamination of the work place by dust. Use proper protective equipment for preventing inhalation of dust or contact of dust on the eye or skin.
Precautions: Do not allow any third party to enter into a place where the product is handled.
Precautions for safety handling: Wash the hands, face and others well and gargle the throat after handling. Do not invert, drop, give impact or drag the container or do not handle the product carelessly.
Handle the product carefully so that dust will not be discharged unnecessarily.
Storage
Proper storage conditions: Place the product in a hermetic container suitable for storage and keep it indoors in a cool dark place at a room temperature.
Substances that must not be loaded together: No applicable
Safe containers and wrapping materials: Use transparent polyethylene inner bag and black polyethylene outer bag as a primary package to wrap the product and place it in a polyethylene drum.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Protective equipment: Provide facilities for washing the eye or the body near a place where the product is handled. When dust is discharged, provide local ventilation equipment or an overall ventilation system.
Protective gears
Respiratory protection: Dust mask, simple dust mask, air-supplied respirator, and air purifying respirator
Hand protection: Protective gloves
Eye protection: Safety glasses, face shield and goggles
Skin and body protection: Protective boots, protective clothing and protective cap
Stability and reactivity
Stability: stable under ordinary conditions in a dark place
Reactivity: the product is an organic compuound and may develop heat and fire in contact with oxydizing agents
Stability conditions to avoid: prolonged exposure to light radiation, high temperature, highly humid conditions and contact with oxydizing agents
Hazardous decomposition product: No data available
Disposal considerations
Wastes consisting of the product unable to be recycled: To be disposed by incineration. To be disposed by a licensed waste disposal agent on a contract basis.
Containers and packages contaminated by the product: Empty containers must be disposed after disposal of the content.
