Sex:
male/female
Details on test animals or test system and environmental conditions:
The animals were placed in an environmentally conditioned room with temperature within 22-25ºC, a relative humidity within 50-65%, rrom air ventilation of approximately 15times/hour, and lighting for 12 hours (7:00 - 19:00)

Administration / exposure

Route of administration:
oral: gavage
Vehicle:
other: 0.5% methylcelullose solution
Details on oral exposure:
The animals were daily observed to confirm whether or not they died, for 15 days after the administration, starting from the administration day.
Doses:
2000 mg/kg
No. of animals per sex per dose:
Ten rats of each sex were divided in two groups of 5 animals and given Isobutyl Derivative at 2000 mg/kg or the vehicle, 0.5% methylcelullose solution by gavage.
Spraque-Dawley rats (Crj: CD; SPF) of both sexes, 4 weeks old. These animals were quanrantined and acclimatized for 7 days.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
study cannot be used for classification
Remarks:
Migrated information
Conclusions:
From these results, it is considered that the 50% lethal dose (LD50) for Isobutyl Derivative by gavage in the rat is over 2000 mg/kg
