Description of key information

The key study is a Klimisch-1, GLP-compliant study, sponsored by Firmenich SA and carried out in 2012 by Harlan Laboratories Ltd. according to OECD 121 and EU Method C.19 (HPLC estimation method). The adsorption coefficient of the registered substance in soil and in sewage sludge was estimated by comparison of the substance’s retention time compared to the retention times of 12 reference compounds. The adsorption coefficient of the test substance on soil and sewage sludge is estimated as log Koc of 2.76, corresponding to a Koc value at 569. The result indicates that the substance is low mobile in soils (according to P.J. McCall et al., 1981).
