Description of key information

Biodegradation in water

According to an OECD 301 D (Ready Biodegradability) test, TODI is not considered to be biodegradable under the test conditions chosen.

Biodegradation in water and sediment: simulation tests

The study does not need to be conducted as TODI is highly insoluble in water and once in contact with water, TODI hydolyses quite fast.

Biodegradation in soil:

The study does not need to be conducted as direct and indirect exposure of soil is unlikely and TODI undergoes very fast hydrolysis under environmental conditions.
