Administrative data
First-aid measures
General information:
May cause an allergic skin reaction. If skin irritation or rash occurs, get medical advice / attention.
In case of inhalation:
Remove casualty to fresh air and keep warm and at rest. If there is difficulty in breathing, give oxygen.
In case of skin contact:
Subsequently wash off with: Water. In case of skin irritation, consult a physician. Immediately remove all contaminated clothing.
In case of eye contact:
In case of contact with eyes flush immediately with plenty of flowing water for 10 to 15 minutes holding eyelids apart.
In case of ingestion:
Rinse mouth immediately and drink plenty of water. Call a physician.
Self-protection of the first aider:
First aider: Pay attention to self-protection!
Information to physician:
The following symptoms may occur: Allergic reactions
First Aid, de-contamination, treatment of symptoms.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media
Foam, CO2, powder extinguisher, water haze, water spray.
Unsuitable extinguishing media
Waterjet
Special risk posed by the substance or by the actual preparation, its combustion products or gases discharged
In case of fire toxic gases may be formed.
Special protective equipment
When extinguishing fires, use breathing apparatus with an independent source of air.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions
Avoid dust development. Provide for sufficient ventilation.
Environmental precautions
Avoid release to the environment. Collect spillage. Do not allow to enter into surface water or drains.
Methods for cleaning up / collecting
Remove mechanically, take up residues with adsorbing material.
Handling and storage
Handling
Advices on safe handling
Persons with a history of skin sensitisation problems should not be employed in any process in which this product is used.
Avoid: Skin contact. Wear protective equipment.
Protective measures
It is recommended to design all work processes always so that the following is excluded: Skin contact
Measures required to protect the environment:
Protect drains and sewers from entry of the product.
Precautions against fire and explosion: No special fire protection measures are necessary.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Exposure controls
The usual precautionary measures for the handling of chemicals have to be observed. Wash hands before breaks and after work. Immediately remove all contaminated clothing.
Personal protection equipment
Respiratory protection:
Combined filter mask A2 – P2 for short term work.
Hand protection:
Protective gloves, PVC or rubber.
Eye protection:
Use safety glasses.
Protective clothing:
For the protection against direct skin contact, body protective clothing is essential (in addition to the usual working clothes).
General health and safety measures:
Avoid contact with skin, eye and clothing. Wash contaminated clothing prior to re-use. Wash hands before breaks and after work. Contaminated work clothing should not be allowed out of the workplace.
Environmental exposure controls:
See section 7. No additional measures necessary.
Stability and reactivity
Stability and reactivity
Conditions to avoid:
Stable under recommended storage and handling conditions (See section Handling and Storage).
Materials to avoid:
Keep away from oxidizing agents, strongly alkaline and strongly acid materials in order to avoid exothermic reactions.
Hazardous decomposition products:
When exposed to high temperatures may produce hazardous decomposition products such as carbon monoxide and dioxide, smoke, oxides of nitrogen.
Disposal considerations
Disposal considerations
In accordance with local official regulations. Remove in accordance with regulations. Waste code (91/689/EEC) : 07 01 99
