Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Accuracy checking:
The verification of the instrument was performed at 20.0°C using the "Water Check" as indicated by the standard operating procedure and also with chlorobenzene as a reference substance just before the determinations. The results were:
Chlorobenzene reference value: 1 .106 g/ml
Instrument reading (average of two readings): 1.106 g/ml
The results are within the precision of the instrument(± 0.001 g/ml).

Density determination
The results obtained with GR-87-6331 at 20.0°C were:
first sample: p = 1 .059 g/ml
second sample: p = 1.059 g/ml
average (rounded off): p = 1.059 g/ml or D20/4 = 1.059
The estimated precision is: ± 0.001 g/ml.

Conclusions:
Density of the test item is 1.059 +/- 0.001 g/mL at 20°C
Executive summary:

The density of the test item was determined according to the OECD guideline No. 109
(oscillating densitometer method).

The result can be expressed as follows:
p = 1.059 ± 0.001 g/ml at 20°C

or D20/4 = 1.059 +/- 0.001

Description of key information

The density of the test item was determined according to the OECD guideline No. 109
(oscillating densitometer method).

The result can be expressed as follows:
p = 1.059 ± 0.001 g/ml at 20°C

or D20/4 = 1.059 +/- 0.001
