Type:
log Pow
Partition coefficient:
< 0.3
Temp.:
25 °C
Remarks on result:
other: E06-16 eluted after approximately 2.7 minutes under the conditions of the analysis, compared to a retention time of 3.1 minutes for the reference substance, 2-butanone, which has a known log10Pow value of 0.3.
Remarks:
A log10Pow value for E06-16 of less than 0.3 was thus obtained.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
E06-16 was found to have a log10Pow value of less than 0.3 (equivalent Pow < 2).
Executive summary:

A study was performed to determine the partition coefficient of the test substance, E06-16.

The method followed is amongst those described in Commission Regulation (EC) No.

440/2008 (Method A.8) and the OECD Guidelines for the Testing of Chemicals (Test

Guideline 117).

E06-16 was determined to have a log10Pow value of less than 0.3 (equivalent Pow < 2).
