State / form:
solid: particulate/powder
Reference substance:
N,N'-(2-(4-(2-aminobenzamido)butyl)pentane-1,5-diyl)bis(2-aminobenzamide)
Name:
N,N'-(2-(4-(2-aminobenzamido)butyl)pentane-1,5-diyl)bis(2-aminobenzamide)
Type of composition:
legal entity composition of the substance
State / form:
solid: particulate/powder
Reference substance:
N,N'-(2-(4-(2-aminobenzamido)butyl)pentane-1,5-diyl)bis(2-aminobenzamide)
PBT status:
the substance is not PBT / vPvB
Justification:

A PBT/vPvB assessment of  N,N'-(2-(4-(2-aminobenzamido)butyl)pentane-1,5-diyl)bis(2-aminobenzamide) could not be carried out according to REACH Annex XIII as the required experimental data is not available. However, based on data that is available, it is possible to assess the PBT/vPvB properties of the test substance with a level of certainty which, although not meeting the Annex XIII requirements, can be considered an acceptable for a substance registered at REACH Annex VIII level.

Based on the evidence available the substance will be persistent as it is not readily bioavailable; however, it is not considered bioaccumulative or toxic and therefore as does not meet the criteria for designation as a persistent, bioaccumulative or toxic (PBT) or a very persistent and very bioaccumulative (vPvB) substance as defined in ECHA Guidance document R.11. Further assessment is not necessary.
