- Key result
- Type:
- log Pow
- Partition coefficient:
- < 0.36
- Temp.:
- 25 °C
- Remarks on result:
- other: pH not determined, see attached explanation
- Details on results:
- Test 1A & B: These solutions used the highest weight of test item and therefore it was reasonable to assume that these solutions would provide the most accurate data. There was good duplication of the results acquired.
Test 2A &B: The results for these tests were consistent with each, but less consistent in relation to the results acquired for Test 1 and 3.
Test 3A & 3B: The residue weight measured for this test was relatively low in comparison to Test 1 and 2. It was noted that the residue weight in n-octanol as calculated was less than the nominal LOQ for the method (10 mg) based on the expected accuracy of the weighing method and balance and therefore accuracy of the measurement may be affected. - Conclusions:
- In the shake flask method conducted according to OECD test guideline 107 and to GLP, the LogPow value for Coffee, bean, roasted, ext. was determined at < 0.36 at 25 ± 0.5 °C.
- Executive summary:
A shake flask test, conducted according to OECD test guideline 107 and to GLP, was performed to determine the Partition coefficient of Coffee, bean, roasted, ext. The LogPow value was determined at < 0.36 at 25 ± 0.5°C.
