Administrative data
First-aid measures
When in doubt or if symptoms are observed, get medical advice.
After inhalation:
Provide fresh air. If experiencing respiratory symptoms immediately call a doctor.
After contact with skin:
Wash with plenty of water and soap. Take off contaminated clothing. If irritation persists consult a doctor.
After contact with eyes:
Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water , occasionally lifting the upper and lower eyelids. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists call an ophthalmologist
After ingestion:
Rinse mouth immediately and drink plenty of water. If feeling unwell immediately call a physician
Fire-fighting measures
Water spray, alcohol resistant foam, Carbon dioxide (CO2), Dry extinguishing powder
Unsuitable extinguishing media:
High power water jet
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture:
Dust explosion capability can be assumed
Advice for firefighters:
In the dangerous zone wear self contained breathing apparatus and suitable chemical resistant protective clothing.
Emission of irritating and toxic fumes and gases.
Hazardous combustion products: Carbon oxides, Hydrogen Iodide
Accidental release measures
Provide adequate ventilation. Avoid dust formation. Do not breathe dust. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothes. Use personal protection equipment.
Environmental precautions: Do not allow to enter into surface water or drains.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: Take up mechanically. Use suitable dust binding material.
Handling and storage
Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice: Do not eat, drink, and smoke. Wash hands before break and after work. Provide sufficient ventilation and/or local exhaust system. Avoid dust formation. Do not breathe dust.
Advice on protection against fire and explosion:
Keep away from sources of ignition - No smoking.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities:
Keep in a cool, well-ventilated place. Keep container tightly closed.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Provide sufficient ventilation and/or local exhaust system.
Protective and hygiene measures:
Remove contaminated clothing immediately. Draw up and observe skin protection programme. Wash hands and face before breaks and after work and take a shower if necessary. When using do not eat or drink.
Eye/face protection:
Safety googles
Hand protection:
Tested protective gloves must be worn The quality of the protective gloves resistant to chemicals must be chosen as a function of the specific working place concentration and quantity of hazardous substances.
Skin protection:
Wear suitable protective clothing. Wear suitable protective clothing.
Respiratory protection:
Respiratory protection mask with filter P1(EN143) recommended.
Stability and reactivity
No hazardous reactions when handled and stored according to provisions. No spontaneous polymerization will occur.
Conditions to avoid: Heat, UV- and sunlight
Materials to avoid: Oxidising agents, strong acids, strong bases
Disposal considerations
Do not allow to enter into surface water or drains.
Dispose of waste according to applicable legislation.
